Examples
- Original: The club met every Wednesday after school. Summary: The club held weekly after-school meetings.
- Original: The path was too slippery to use safely. Paraphrase: The path was unsafe because it was slippery.
- Original: Students received a map and a timetable. Summary: Students received orientation materials.
Common mistake
Changing a few words is not enough if the sentence structure and details stay almost identical.
